Citroen Saxo VTS: with a…220Hp Civic Type-R engine!

While this video isn’t as near as enjoying as the BMW 3-Series Coupe with a Honda S2000 engine video we showed last week, you’ve got to admit that the idea of putting an upgraded Civic Type-R motor to the rear end of a 900kg (1.985 pounds) Citroen Saxo is indulging. According to the guys who made the vid, the rear-wheel drive Saxo Type-R does the quarter mile sprint in 14,26 sec. Via: Diariomotor

BMW 3-Series Coupe with a... 250Hp Honda S2000 engine!

Ok, I agree a 140Hp 4cylinder 1.8-liter engine doesn’t quite fit the “Ultimate Driving Machine” moto that describes a BMW model. But, to go on and fit a… 250hp 2.0 VTEC Honda S2000 engine on a 318is Coupe, that’s plump crazy and yes, we just love it!

Forget about the screaming Japanese chick in the pink cowboy hat, be patient with the “get to know you” scenes at the start of the video, and get a load of that superb Honda motor screaming aloud inside the bimmers chassis! Just look at that rev needle breaking with ease the 7.000 rpm end point of the bimmers tachometer continuing its course towards the other way! Via: Autoblog.it

5th Gear puts the new Honda Legend to the ultimate test against BMW 530i & Audi A6

Although history has shown that when it comes to premium models, Europeans scarcely stray away from the “German Triad” (Audi, BMW & Mercedes-Benz), Honda believes it’s brand new, forth generation Legend has that something special to lure some buyers to it’s side.
